Knights place 4th at Mooresville

The Northview Knights got a round of 77 from junior Millie Akers, who came in with a 37 on the back nine, and as a team, Northview placed fourth in the 15-team Mooresville Invitational.

Brownsburg recorded a 310 to take the tourney title followed by Richmond's 315 and Franklin Central's round of 330 and the Knights carded a 338.

The Knights also had an 81 from Mary Beth Tribble and Maggie Kirchner shot an 89 with Jenae Huffman at 91 and Madason Stevenson at 104.

Terre Haute South got a round of 75 from Diane Price who tied for medalist honors. As a team, the Braves scored a 391 while Terre Haute North got a 79 from Christine Dodson to score a team round of 375.

Up next for Northview will be a trip to the Terre Haute South Invitational where they will enter two teams. The tournament begins at 10 a.m.
