Knights hammer way past host Bulldogs; open WIC slate tonight

Northview remained unbeaten in high school volleyball with a straight set victory over Monrovia on Tuesday, 25-16, 25-19, 25-18.

Lottie King topped the Knights with 11 kills and added 10 blocks and five service points. Kaley Huffman contributed 10 kills for Northview to go with five digs, four points and three aces. Christy Fulk had eight kills and added five blocks with Lindsay Thomas leading the way with 34 assists, six blocks and seven points. Heather Palmer had five kills and Brianne Arvin added five as well.

In the junior varsity game, the Knights won 25-21, 25-23 as Olivia Kumpf had three aces, two kills and six assists. Emma Koehler had two assists, a kill and two aces and Katie Timberman had three blocks and five kills. Ashley Hull contributed four kills for the Knights in the win.

Up next for Northview is a home match versus Edgewood that begins their WIC schedule on Thursday night.
