Sarah Roeshlein and the Knights dropped a 1-0 game.

The Northview girls soccer team visited the Monrovia Bulldogs on Wednesday night and came away with a narrow 1-0 defeat.

The Knights could have used some of the extra goals they scored in a 7-1 thumping of Cascade on Monday, against the Bulldogs. Northview was unable to find the net despite a four shot effort from Ashley Woodcox, who nipped the cross bar with one shot. Both Brittney Tucker and Heather Foxx each had three shots for the Knights.

However, it was Monrovia who found the goal with a first half tally that would hold up over the second half.

Christina Arvin saved six shots and defender Sage Graverson had five for Northview. Heather Foxx added six steals in her defensive effort in keeping her squad close.

Northview drops to 1-5 overall this season and will host Danville next Wednesday in a JV/Varsity doubleheader beginning at 4:30 p.m.
