The North Clay eighth grade football team remained unbeaten on the season with a convincing 31-14 victory over host Cascade on Wednesday night.
The Knights got a kickoff return for a touchdown from Drake Stevenson and Scotty Wheeler excelled on special teams with a touchback and two extra points.
Justin White threw three touchdown passes and ran one in from 51 yards as part of 68 rushing yards on the night for the QB. He also had 121 passing yards.
Joel Rector pulled in two receiving touchdowns and added an interception on defense and both Conner Strain and Nathan Mafioli also had interceptions in the victory.
Wheeler, Eric Van Horn and Pat Duncan all had sacks in the game as the North Clay defense stood tall. Jonathan Bradshaw capped the game with a 53-yard touchdown catch.
The Knights are now 3-0 and will host Greencastle next Thursday.
In last week's eighth grade contest, the Knights defeated Owen Valley last Wednesday by a 20-8 score.
White had 137 yards through the air and ran for another 72 that included a five-yard scamper that closed the first half.
Stevenson added two touchdowns, one for 17 yards and another, a 32-yard fumble return.
