The Northview tennis team had little trouble with the host South Vermillion squad on Monday evening, earning a 4-0 victory since the Wildcats didn't not have enough players to field a No.2 doubles squad.

Northview did not lose a set in the match with Alex Smith earning a straight set, 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 1 singles over Jared Shull before Austin Akers downed Cam Decker by a 6-0, 6-3 score in No.2 action. Garrett Turpin lost just two games in defeating Phillip Wiseman, 6-1, 6-1 and the doubles team of Cody Jones and Ryne Barr won 6-1, 6-0.

The Knights will host Western Indiana Conference foe Owen Valley on Wednesday evening at 5 p.m.
