TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- David Moss scored 24 points, including 8-of-8 from the line, to lead five Sycamores in double figures as Indiana State remained undefeated by beating Campbell 86-71 Monday night.
Jay Tunnell and Tyson Schnitker had 12 each for Indiana State (7-0). Darron Evans scored 11 off the bench and Trent Wurtz had 10 points and nine rebounds.
Eric Smith led the Fighting Camels (3-5) with 20, including 5-of-11 three-point shooting. Maurice Latham scored 13.
The Sycamores stretched a 45-30 halftime lead to a 21-point margin when Gabriel Moore made a layup early in the second half to make it 57-36.
The Camels then went on a 27-14 run to close within 71-63 with 5:57 left, but got no closer after that.
Indiana State shot 21-of-30 from the free-throw line while the Camels managed just 8-of-17.
Campbell outscored the Sycamores in the paint, 34-28, but Indiana State got 27 points off turnovers compared with 18 for the Camels.
