Northview graduates had a great deal of success in track action this past weekend as Brit Hofmann, Emily Pugh and Nikki Royer all were part of winning efforts for their respective teams.
Hofmann established a school record for Rose-Hulman in the Engineer Collegiate Open on Saturday.
The sophomore set a new school record to capture the triple jump title with a leap of 31-6 on Saturday. She also leapt to a second place finish in the long jump with a leap of 14-7 3/4.
For Indiana State, Nikki Royer was a winner in the pole vault for the Sycamore women who won the meet against Illinois State by a score of 76-67.
Royer cleared 10-11 3/4 to win the meet for the Sycamores.
Emily Pugh finished fifth in the 3,000 meters in a time of 10:55.53. Heather Stembridge was the winner in the event in 10:33.62.
The Sycamores will compete in the Indiana Quadrangular against IU, Purdue and Ohio State at Bloomington on Saturday beginning at 11:15 a.m.
Rose-Hulman will host their own quad meet on Saturday beginning at noon.
