Spring Raines scored 15 points in helping the Northview girls team to a victory over Danville.

Northview's girls basketball team won their sixth game out of seven on Wednesday night with a 54-47 victory over Danville.

The Knights held the Warriors to just three second quarter points in taking a 25-13 lead into the halftime break and then had to withstand a 20 point third period in holding on for the win. The win moves Northview to 8-6 overall this season with a conference matchup with South Vermillion looming on Saturday night.

Senior center Julie Whitted led the Knights with 17 points in the contest and freshman Spring Raines contributed 15 and Lexee Hayes added another 10 points for the Knights.

Northview is unbeaten in conference play and looks to keep that streak intact when they take on the Wildcats at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
