Quakers use late rally to get past Knights

Northview senior Stephanie Spugnardi scored a point in Tuesday's loss to Plainfield.

The Plainfield Quakers put together a late rally to end Northview's six game winning streak in a 56-49 win on Tuesday night.

Plainfield got six fourth period free throws to edge past the Knights after the game was tied heading into the fourth quarter.

Julie Whitted was the game's leading scorer with 23 points and Spring Raines added a trio of 3-pointers as part of her 16 point game. Plainfield got 20 points from Jessica Wolfe and 18 from Megan Egenolf to improve to 16-4 on the season.
