Northview's Zach Stultz (top) was the 140-pound Cadet champion at Conseco Fieldhouse this past weekend during a national tourney.
The Wabash Valley Wrestling Club that meets at Northview High School had great representation at Conseco Fieldhouse this past weekend during a national tournament.
The tourney featured some of the nation's strongest competitors from 20 different states as far away as California.
Northview's Zach Stultz came away as the Cadet 140 pound champion and Beau Pingleton was third at the Cadet 130 pound level.
At the Bantam level, Jacob Hendrich was the third place finisher at the 75 pound level with 95-pounder, Tyler Loughmiller also placing third.
In the Cadet 91 pound class, Luke Pingleton placed sixth with Brandon Mikesell fifth at the Schoolboy 120-pound level. Keiontre Wilkey was fifth in the Midget 55-pound level.
"Overall these are great results for our club. Our older kids wrestled very well against some strong competition and it was a great atmosphere for our younger guys to get some quality experience," commented Northview High School head coach Dan Mikesell.
