The North Clay eighth grade girls basketball team upped their record to 11-3 overall this season by defeating Edgewood on the road, 52-33 on Monday evening.
The Knights shot a robust 45 percent (24-of-53) from the field and pulled down 28 rebounds in the victory.
Emily Phillips had a particularly strong evening for North Clay by scoring 13 points and adding seven rebounds and four steals. Teammate Ali Sharton was on top of her game as well with 12 points seven rebounds and three steals.
Brooklyne Myers tallied 10 points in the game and added two rebounds and two steals to go with an eight point, five rebound evening from Shelby Sands. Kelsey Searing added five with both Carlee Bell and Sam Solomon adding two points each.
Next up for the Knights is a home game tonight against Sarah Scott beginning at 6 p.m.
