The 2005 grad went 3-for-3 in the second game win over Qinsigamond and added three RBIs in the 10-run win. In the Saturday contest, Shoemaker pounded out a 5-for-6 day with six runs driven in.
Prior to leaving for Florida, the Blue Knights swept a pair of games against South Suburban College of Chicago, 5-0 and 10-7.

Next up for the Blue Knights is the opening of Great Rivers Athletic Conference action when they host John A. Logan on Saturday.
Matt Lash, also a former Northview player, has gone 1-for-2 at the plate with an RBI for Rose-Hulman this season but has struggled some on the mound, compiling a 13.50 ERA in two appearances. He's gone two innings while allowing three earned runs and has struck out one batter.
Indiana State University left hander Ryan Hayes, a former Knight, threw six scoreless innings in a Wednesday shutout of visiting Valparaiso.
Hayes allowed just four hits while striking out three to post his second win of the year for the 6-5 Sycamores.
