Ridge Inman recently took home the first place trophy at the Indiana Field Archery Association State Tourney. He shot a score of 600/105 out of a possible 600/120.

Two weeks ago he attended the National Field Archery Association Tournament in Louisville, KY and placed seventh out of 9. He scored a 600/110 that weekend.

This summer Ridge will compete outdoors where he will shoot 3D animal targets in unmarked, rugged terrain in such places as Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and the Snowshoe Mountains.

Ridge is a junior at Shakamak High School and the son of Rick and Tina Inman of Clay City.

Inman has enjoyed the sport of archery for eight years.

Anyone who is interested in more information about archery, or getting started in the sport, can contact Inman at 1-812-939-3207.
