Clay City's Rebecca Seymour raced to a third place finish in the 300 hurdles and 100 hurdles in a Tuesday track meet versus Cloverdale.
The Clay City Eels made the short trip down I-70 for a girls track victory on Tuesday evening, earning an 80-43 victory over Cloverdale.
The Eels got a pair of first place finishes from Shawna Vencel in individual events, winning the 100 meters in 13.23 and the 200 in 29.8 She was joined by Alisha Drake who also won two events, taking the 1,600 in 6:27 and the 3,200 in 13:45.
Kasey Waite led a sweep in the discus followed by Jackie Sands and Sabrina Liechty who was the shotput victor.
Rachael Narlock was the winner in the high jump at 5-2 and took second in the long jump with a leap of 15-2 1/2 and was the runnerup in the 300 hurdles. Rebecca Seymour was third in the event and was third in the 100 hurdles.
In the 400 meters, Megan Vansickle was second followed by Jessica Bays and Hannah Moore placed second in the 800 followed by Kyla Snow.
Monique Richard was third in the 100 meters for the Eels and Missy McHenry was third in the 3,200.
All three relay teams were victorious for the Eels who will compete in the TRC meet at Linton on Friday.
