Carlee Bell set a school record in the 400 meters for North Clay on Tuesday evening.
North Clay's Carlee Bell celebrated her birthday in style for the Knights in a dual track meet with Greencastle.
Bell helped earn her team an 82 to 27 win over the Tiger Cubs on Tuesday and in doing so, broke the school record in the 400 meters with her time of 1:02.35.
Samantha Solomon earned a pair of wins in the throwing events for the Knights, taking victories in both the shot and discus with teammate Katherine McDonald finishing second in the discus.
In the long jump, Raven Enders and Jaclyn Linton were second and third with Annie Smiley winning the high jump at 4-4. Ashley Ball was the runnerup at 4-2 for the Knights.
On the track, Hallie Harbison paced a sweep in the 3,200 meters for North Clay, winning in 14:14 followed by Shelby Bass and Tori Rohrbaugh. Annie Smiley was the hurdles winner with Hannah Pond in third.
Alyssa Conrad lowered her personal record in the 1,600 to 6:01 to take first in the event with Corey Laue running second.
Over in the sprints, Emily Phillips was the 100 meter runnerup followed by Brittney Schlegel. In the 400 relay, Phillips teamed with Pond, Schlegel and Smiley for the victory.
The 800 meters brought another win for Phillips followed by Ali Sharton and Linton ran her best time of the season in the 200 (29.43) to pick up a victory with Schlegel in third.
In the 1,600 meter relay, the team of Laue, Phillips, Enders and Bell was the winner to cap the team victory.
The Knights will compete at home on Thursday against South Vermillion in their final meet before the Western Indiana Conference meet on Saturday.
