The Northview Knights went a perfect 3-0 this weekend, downing Linton on Friday night 13-9 and then taking the Washington Tournament title with a 10-3 win over Washington and a 15-0 blanking of Washington Catholic.
John Reberger scored four times and had two doubles against the Miners with three hits and Cody Crooks, Austin Bryan and Graig Bass had two RBIs apiece in the victory.
The Knights pounded out 13 hits and Keaton Robertson, Bryan, Bass and Crooks each had two hits in the victory.
Jesse Johnson got the win on the mound in relief of J.J. Smerdel.
On Saturday, Sean Brackney had two-run home runs and Bryan, Chase Yocom, Bass and Smerdel each had two hits to beat Washington.
Bass drove home four runs with his two hits and Bryan added a double and drove home a run, Smerdel also had an RBI.
Curtis Peters got the pitching victory for Northview.
In the second game, Reberger drilled a pair of home runs, driving home five runs and Robertson went a perfect 3-for-3 in the game with a double. Bryan drove home a run as did Crooks, who doubled home a run. Brackney drove home two runs in the five-inning affair while Kyle Pestoff and Peters each doubled.
The Knights advance to 20-3 this season with a road trip to Greencastle on Tuesday night.
