The whirlwind 2006 fall golf season continued on Wednesday for the Northview Knights as they traveled to the Phil Harris Course in Linton for a three-way match with the Miners and Cloverdale.
Once again, the Knights earned a victory, coming off a win in the Braves Invitational just a day earlier.
Northview shot a 157 as a team to win comfortably over Linton's 189 and Cloverdale's 216.
Mary Beth Tribble carded an even par round of 35 with Madison Kirchner scoring a 36 and Mille Akers shot a 37 to pace the Knights. Mandy Thomlinson rounded out the scoring for Northview with her 49.
Linton standout, Rachel Pruett, was the medalist on her home course, shooting a 3-under, 35 to lead the scoring.
Also for the Knights, Kayla Cooper shot a 50 with Sunny Shaw shooting a 51, Savannah Pursell carded a 55 and Olivia Oehler shot a 58.
Northview will play host to Jasper and Washington this afternoon, teeing off at 1 p.m. for 18 holes of action at Forest Park.
