Knights sweep past Rox

Northview's volleyball team remained unbeaten with a three set victory against host Rockville on Monday night, 25-19, 25-20, 25-20.

"This was our toughest match so far this year," said head coach Ali Pinkston. "Rockville wouldn't go down without a fight."

The Knights got a strong offensive game from juniors Lottie King and Kayley Huffman who had 13 and seven kills apiece and Lindsay Thomas added 32 assists for Northview.

"Our energy level was through the roof tonight," noted Pinkston of her Knights who improved to 4-0. "The killer instinct that we've been working on was really prevalent against Rockville."

Ashley Hull helped shut down the Rox with 12 blocks and King contributed 11 for the Knights. Brittaney Long had six kills for the Knights.

The JV squad was also a winner, taking a 25-22, 25-19 victory.

Northview will travel to Edgewood on Thursday night to face the Mustangs in a Western Indiana Conference match.
