The Clay City Eels remained unbeaten in volleyball action after finishing off a 25-18, 25-13, 25-18 victory against host Cloverdale on Tuesday evening.
The Eels got an 18 assist performance from Courtney Dayhuff to go along with a pair of blocks and Angie Camp contributed eight points along with a balanced statistical line including two aces, four kills and four digs.
Sarah Kennedy led the squad with seven kills in the match to go with nine points, three blocks and a pair of digs. Chelsee Gerber chipped in with five assists, seven points and two blocks.
Freshman Kelly McCullough added in four kills and Kendra Roe brought eight points and a team-leading 13 digs to the match.
Clay City, 3-0 overall, will compete in the Bloomfield Invitational on Saturday and open with a 10 a.m. match with North Knox.
