Clay City improved to 7-1 overall and 2-1 in the Tri-River Conference on Tuesday with a 25-11, 25-10, 25-14 sweep of North Central.

The Eels got 17 service points, three aces and three kills from Sarah Kennedy and Courtney Dayhuff had 10 assists and seven service points with three aces. Chelsee Gerber added in eight assists, 10 points and five aces.

Ashley McCullough had nine kills for Clay City in the win and three blocks while Melinda Jackson, in her first game back from injury, drilled home five kills. Kendra Roe had 12 points and two aces for the Eels.

Next up for Clay City is a home match against Riverton Parke on Thursday at 6 p.m.
