Russell Andrew Curry, 71, of Center Point, died Monday, May 26, 2003, at his residence.
He was born April 20, 1922, in Shelby County where he was a resident most of his life. He was the son of Carl Curry and Rosella Martin Curry, who preceded him in death.
He was a graduate of Moral Township High School. He served in the Army during World War II.
He was a retired truck driver for Yellow Freight, where he worked from 1967 to 1990. He was a member of American Legion.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Alice Curry, in Jan. 2003.
He is survived by two sons, Russell Allen Curry of Center Point and Carl Edward Curry of Indianapolis; two daughters, Barbara Kuntz of Ft. Wayne and Marlene Busald of Terre Haute; one brother, Gerald "Gary" Curry of Fountaintown; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Hendryx Mortuary in New Palestine, Ind. Burial will follow in New Palestine Cemetery. Visitation is from 12:30 to time of service.
