Doreen Alice Lawson, 77, of Terre Haute, died early Tuesday morning, June 3, 2003, at her residence.
She was Jan. 29, 1926, in Norwich, England, the daughter of Ernest George Bullimore and Lillian Harrison Bullimore.
She married Jack Rubben Lawson, who preceded her in death.
She worked as a florist for the Miller Floral Shop. She was a member of the North Union United Methodist Church and the 458 8th Air Force. She was also an avid gardener.
Survivors includes one son, John A. Lawson and wife June, Brazil; two daughters, Patricia Murphy and husband George M., Terre Haute, and Betty J. Whittington and husband Andy, Brazil; two brothers, Kenneth Rodney Bullimore and wife Barbara, England, and George Leonard Bullimore and wife Joyce, England; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Alwyn Bullimore, and one sister, Kathleen Sillett.
Funeral services were today at 1:30 p.m. at the DeBaun Funeral Home Springhill Chapel with the Rev. John Holwerda officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
