Katharine Anderson Darling, 91, of Banning, Calif., formerly of Brazil, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at Cherry Valley Health Care, Banning.
She was born Oct. 7, 1911, in Brazil and was a graduate of Indiana State Teacher's College and University of California at Riverside.
She taught in various Banning schools and Head Start.
Memberships included the Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue Fuhrman, of Elkton, Md.; a son, Mark Darling, of Palm Desert, Calif.; and four grandchildren, Leslie Darling, Lambertville, N.J., Lisa Darling, San Diego, Calif., Niels Fuhrman, El Granada, Calif. and Sarah Fuhrman, Fairbanks, Alaska.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Caswell Darling in 1988; a daughter, Margaret, and a grandson, Fanchon.
Funeral services are scheduled 11 a.m. Friday at Banning United Methodist Church with burial in San Gorgonio Memorial Park, Banning.
