Esther I. Frazier, 87, of Greencastle, died Friday at the Putnam County Hospital.

She was born Sept. 28, 1915, in Putnam County, Ind., the daughter of Oscar and Minnie Miller Morlan.

She married Elmer "Sparky" Frazier on Jan. 2, 1936, who preceded her in death in October 1990.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Moose Lodge No. 1592, Greencastle. She was also an active member in the Putnam County Senior Center.

She was also preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Patty Beasley; two sisters, Clarice Hunter and Ethel Buis; five brothers, Reeve Morlan, Raymond Morlan, Wayne Morlan, Jim Morlan and Kennie Morlan.

Survivors include her son, Robert Frazier and wife Belinda of Greencastle; two daughters, Shirley Paullus and husband Larry of Reelsville and Betty Newman of Greencastle; one sister, Betty McGaughey and husband Lawrence of Russellville; one brother, Wm. Scott Morlan of Brazil; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with the Rev. Patrick Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
