Barbara Neville, 65, of Brazil, died at 4:49 p.m. July 6, 2003 at Union Hospital in Terrre Haute.
She was born Feb. 19, 1938, in Brazil, the daughter of John Kempf and Marie Wells Kempf.
She married Donald Neville June 15, 1957. She worked as a nurses aide for several years at Clay County Hospital. She later continued her education, achieving her Licensed Practical Nursing degree. She worked at several nursing homes in the Clay County area and last worked at Cloverdale Nursing Home.
She enjoyed decorating wedding cakes and caring for her family.
She is survived by her husband Donald Neville; two daughters, Debbie Snow and her husband Steve, of Brazil and Miranda Neville, of Brazil and Miranda Neville of Seelyville; two sons, Robert Neville and his wife Leslie and Donald W. Neville, all of Brazil; seven grandchildren, Jana Grigsby-Morlan, Jason Ray, Steven Snow, Sarah Neville, Robert Neville II, Donald W. Neville Jr., and Lucas Nuss; six great-grandchildren, Ciarra Grigsby, Chloe Grigsby, Kirsten Grigsby, Hannah Ray, Kaden Ray, Tyler Neville; one sister, Betty Dunshee and husband Orville of Fenton, OH; two brothers, Robert Kempf of Cunot, and Ira Kempf and wife Sandy of Maine; Many neices and nephews and a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters in infancy and one brother, Ernie Kempf.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at French Funeral Home with Rick Wetnight officiating. Burial will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday and again Wednesday prior to services.
