Thomas B. Blystone, 76, died Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at Columbia Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Fla.
He was born March 15, 1927, in Indiana County, Pa. He was the son of Bert and Louise Marsh Blystone. He received his high school degree from River Forest High School in Lake Station, Ind. He was employed as a steelworker in the Northwestern Indiana area and was a member of Moose Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Rita Blystone, and one son, Thomas B. Blystone.
He is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Blystone of Valparaiso, Ind., Betsy Hodge and husband Cliff of Moscow Mills, Mo., and Belinda Dobson and husband Garry of Valparaiso; two sons, David Blystone and wife Marcie of Brazil and Jon Blystone and wife Roxanne of Portage, Ind.; two brothers, George Blystone of Lake Station and Bill Blystone; seventeen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
At the request of the deceased, his body has been cremated. His ashes will be buried at a family gravesite in Calvary Cemetery in Portage Wednesday at 1 p.m. Moore Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. See www.moorefuneralhome.us for more information.
