Dovie E. Rollison, 90, of Clay City, died Sunday, July 20, 2003, at 7:10 a.m. at Richland Bean Blossom Healthcare, Elletsville, Ind.
Born Nov. 15, 1912, in Green County, Ind., she was the daughter of Ad and Nellie Morland Knoy, who are deceased.
A Clay City resident for many years, she was the first tenant to occupy the senior apartments on Washington Street and was a self-employed home healthcare aide.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Rollison, on May 4, 1967, and a daughter, Ruth Jackson.
Survivors include a son, John Rollison and wife Cindy of California; a granddaughter, Linda Smith and husband Ted of Bloomington, Ind.; two grandsons, Chuck and Barry Rollison of California; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Derek Smith; two sisters, Josephine Pickard of Martinsville, Ind., and Lucille New of Worthington, Ind.; a brother, Junior Knoy and wife Patty of Indianapolis.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Maple Grove Cemetery, Clay City, with the Rev. Mel Sorensen officiating. There are no calling hours.
