Mary E. Taylor, 89, of Terre Haute, died Monday, July 21, 2003, at Union Hospital.
Born Dec. 23, 1913, in Bowling Green she was the daughter of Elmer and Rose Stevens Royer. She became a member of Bowling Green Methodist Church, a 50-year member of Eastern Star 12 points, Emera Club and Past Matrons Club.
Survivors include three sisters, Adalee Jordan, Merle Kay and Cynthia Moon; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Frank Buston, her second husband Kenneth Taylor and brothers and sisters Roscoe Royer, Wayne Royer, Irene Thompson, Virgil "Doc" Royer, Dee Royer, Lola Jordan, Raymond "Buck" Royer, Sam Royer and three infants.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Thomas Funeral Home, 2200 N. 13th St., Terre Haute, with the Rev. Willie Best and Nadene Woolf officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
Twelve Points Eastern Star Chapter 528 will conduct a memorial service at noon Thursday.
Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Park.
Donations may be made to the United Methodist Church in Bowling Green. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
