Clarence Don McCammack, 84, of Greencastle, Ind., died Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at Hickory Creek at Sunset.
Born Aug. 1, 1918, at Quincy, Ind., he was the son of Clarence Morton McCammack and Effie Bell (Knoll) McCammack.
He was a truck driver and mechanic for Alhmeyer's Garage, Cunot, Ind., and a World War II veteran.
Survivors include a companion, Esther Strait Jackson of Greencastle; three daughters, Sandra Kay Burkett and husband Melvin of Greencastle, Connie Jo Wharton and Ken Glover of Greencastle and Velma Crowe of Poland; two sons, Clifford Eugene Jackson and wife Phyllis of Brazil and Darrel Lee Jackson and wife Terri of Greencastle; 16 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father on June 25, 1941, his mother on Oct. 7, 1950, an infant daughter and an infant son.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, Ind., with burial in Cunot Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
