Wilma Roeschlein Johnson Keen, 88, of Brazil, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2003, at 8:15 a.m. in Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

Born Nov. 1, 1914, in Clay County, she was the daughter of Mayme Roeschlein Burk. A graduate of Ashboro High School, she married Joseph Johnson, who died in 1963. She and her husband owned and operated the Alabama Restaurant for more than 30 years. She later married Herman Keen, he also preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church and loved to follow her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's activities.

Survivors include a son, Jack Johnson, and his wife Dolores, of Brazil; five grandchildren, Deborah Herbert and husband Randy of Carbon, Joetta McCullough and husband Andy of Cory, Jack and Toni Johnson, Bret and Becky Johnson and Brad Johnson, all of Brazil; eight great-grandchildren, Bradi Johnson, Bowie Johnson, Jason Johnson and Jesse Johnson, Jennifer Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Ashley McCullough and Kelly McCullough; a half-brother, J.D. Burk and wife Janice of Brazil; sisters-in-law Shirley Lunsford, Joan Persinger, Vonda Johnson and Polly Johnson; several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Private family graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Summit Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Rick Thomas officiating. French Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
