Archie F. Lee, 89, of Brazil died at 10:56 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, 2003, at St. Vincent Clay Hospital following a brief illness.
Born Dec. 24, 1913, in Cotton Township in Switzerland County, Ind., he was the son of of Charles and Nellie Gibbs Lee.
He graduated from Vevay High School and married Lucy Vaught who preceded him in death on Dec. 11, 1999.
He was a well-known antique dealer who owned and operated Crestline Antiques Shop on East National Avenue in Brazil for more than 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lucy and son Dom. E. Lee who died in 1968.
He is survived by two sisters, Bonnie Bliss and Nellie Cooper, both of Greenfield, Ind.; two brothers, Kenneth Lee of Royal Oak, Mich. and John W. Lee of Bennington, Ind.; and a son Thomas G. Lee and wife Sandra of Cloverdale; four grandchildren, Michael A. Lee and wife Julie, Jenna Esarey and husband Jeff, Laurie E. Gobert and husband Shawn and Kelly Lee and husband Brad Behlke; two step-grandchildren, Jess Kosteck, Rachelle Neely and husband William; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Moore Funeral Home. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday with Pastor Tony Alstott of First Methodist Church of Brazil officiating. Burial will be in Lee Cemetery in Switzerland County, Ind.
