Randall A. Phillips, 53, of Greencastle, died Thursday morning, Aug. 14, 2003, at the Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle.
He was born June 16, 1950, in Brazil, the son of William A. and Eileen Rosemary Chew Phillips. He married Billie L. Moore on Aug. 2, 1986, and she survives.
He worked as an EMT in Putnam County before becoming a dispatcher for the Greencastle Police Department. He was most recently employed as a 911 dispatcher for Putnam County.
He was a member of the Walnut Grove Apostolic Church, Greencastle, where he played guitar and taught Bible study lessons. He was also an amateur hand held radio operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his daughters, Christina L. Jones and husband Chris of Greencastle, and Betty A. Chaney and husband Shawn of Brazil; one son, Matt C. Fulk and wife Nicole of Brazil; two sisters, Lana c. Phillips of Dunwood, Ga., and Bonnie J. Moore and husband Richard of Orange Park, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Walnut Grove Apostolic Church with the Rev. Harry Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church.
