Sandra K. Walker, 58, of Brazil, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, at her residence from complications from Multiple Sclerosis.

Born Jan. 28, 1945, in Brazil, she was the daughter of Walter and Clara Wilson Walker.

She attended Brazil High School and enjoyed babysitting. She cared for the elderly before her health became a problem.

She attended the Baptist church and was an avid Elvis fan who enjoyed painting.

Survivors include her mother, Clara Walker, of Brazil; her four sisters, Evelyn Nelson, Phyllis Shaffer and her husband Robert of Brazil, Sharon Michon and husband Jim and Janet Walker, all of Terre Haute; three brothers, Howard Walker, Jerry Walker and his wife Carol, all of Brazil, and Sonny Walker of Terre Haute; a brother-in-law, Jim LaBaume of Brazil; many nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1978 and a sister, Mary LaBaume, in 1999.

Services will be conducted Saturday at 1 a.m. at French Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Sampson officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. and again Saturday prior to services.
