Katherine Moore, 94, of Rockville, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003, in the emergency room of West Central Community Hospital in Clinton.
She was born Aug. 18, 1909, in Nebraska to the late Harrison Grubbs and Ruth Robbins Grubbs. She was a graduate of Cayuga High School.
She married John Moore on April 20, 1929. He preceded her in death in January 1987.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Friends Church in Newport and Newport Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Palm and husband Robert of Brazil, Patty Berry and husband Dale of Rockville and Marjorie Knott and husband Jim of Marshall, Ind.; three sisters, Millie Conner of Florida, Dorothy Porter of Cayuga and Helen Jordan of Cayuga; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, one daughter and one brother.
Services will be Monday at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 Howard St., Rockville, with the Rev. Brad Bumgardner officiating. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery, Newport. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and again Monday prior to services.
