Beulah L. West, 86, of Brazil, died in her residence.
Born May 5, 1917, she was the daughter of Fred and Pearl May Eveland Bemis.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Fairview Christian Church. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed cooking, quilting and making crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett West; two brothers, Monte Bemis and Chester Bemis; and a sister, Deloris Archer.
Survivors include two daughters, Alice Giltz and Leatha Brown, both of Brazil; a sister-in-law, Dorlene Woodrum, of Brazil; two brothers-in-law, Frank Woodrum, of Brazil, and Harry West and wife, Mary, of Clay City; six grandchildren, Susan Jo James of Greenwood, James David Brown, Lynn Ann Fernandez, Michael Lee Giltz, Allison Lee and Jackie Dean Patterson, all of Clay City; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in French Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bee Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, prior to services, noon-2 p.m.
