The Rev. Millie A. Boetjer-Patterson, 69, of Vandalia, Ill., died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, at 3:32 a.m. at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia.

She was born Aug. 3, 1934, the daughter of Robert and Melinda Wetnight Neville. They preceded her in death, as did her first husband, Jack Boetjer, and one brother.

She married the late Lemuel S. "Bucky" Patterson on Nov. 5, 1980 in Brazil. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2000.

She was a retired receiving clerk for CBS, Columbia House Records, Terre Haute. She was a member of Pentecostal Church in Vandalia and in Brazil. She was a former Sunday School teacher.

She is survived by four sons, Mike Boetjer of Ft. Wayne, Mark Boetjer of Brazil, Gregg Boetjer of Santa Maria, Calif., and Doug Boetjer of Greencastle, Ind.; one daughter, Jeanette Tate of Vandalia; one brother, Donny Neville of Brazil; three sisters, Shirley Weaver of Brazil, Linda White of Brazil and Lucy Loveland of Terre Haute; three special friends, Lois Giltz of Brazil, Judy Dove of Brazil and Faye Hensley of Bainbridge, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at First Pentecostal Church, Vandalia, with the Rev. Paul Cagle officiating. Lisa Donaldson will be the organist and Sayona Perry will be the vocalist. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
