Charles Henry Lillyblade, 77, of Brazil, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at Union Hospital.
Born Oct. 14, 1926, in Brazil, he was the son of Russell and Maggie Warren Lillyblade. He graduated from Staunton High School and joined the Navy, serving during World War II.
On Oct. 19, 1946, he married Mary Peshut.
He returned home from the service and worked for Hulman and Co., later joining Tumpane Co. and retiring from J. I. Case as a production manager.
He enjoyed woodworking and was a member of the Brazil Concert Band.
He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors inlcude his wife; a son, Robert, of Brazil; a daughter, Barbara DeFelice of Frankfort, Ill.; three grandchildren, Julie Will and husband, David, Megan DeFelice and Allison DeFelice; two great-grandchildren, Nathan Will and Jessica Will; a brother, Russell, and wife, Carol, of Fortville, Ind.; two nieces; and a nephew.
Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in French Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Sampson officiating. Burial will follow in Clearview Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, 5-8 p.m. and Friday prior to services.
