Thomas "Tom" Lee Gorham II, 51, of Greencastle, Ind., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born April 21, 1952, in Putnam County, he was the son of Thomas Lee and Garnet Williams Gorham. In 1989 he married Shirley Wisner and she survives.
He was a graduate of Greencastle High School in 1970 and from Ivy Tech with a degree in Heat and Air Repair. He served in the United States Air Force as an airplane mechanic during the Vietnam conflict. He had owned and operated Gorham's Tree Service and had worked at Lone Star for 25 years, most recently as a register control room operator.
Memberships included Greencastle Christian Church.
He loved baseball, golf, skydiving, scuba diving and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife; mother; a son, Thomas Lee Gorham III and fiancee, Jessica; two daughters, Tracy Williams and husband, Tim, and Rachael Gorham; a brother, Terry Gorham; a sister, Patti Hoover, and husband, Scott, all of Greencastle; his mother- and father-in-law, Charles and Annabelle Nowlin of Pendleton, Ind.
His father preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery with Military rites.
