Rodney Doyle Page, 45, of Clay City, died at 3:22 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
Born Dec. 5, 1958, in Henderson, Ky., he was the son of Jewell B. and Betty Parsons Page. He lived in Clay County for the past six years, moving here from Henderson, Ky.
On June 2, 1997, he married Linda Brooks in Henderson. Due to a disability, he has been unable to work the past five years. Previously, he was employed at various factories.
He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Linda Lou Page Glassco; a grandmother, Lillie Coe; and a half-brother, Ronald Page.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; his mother; two sons, Rodney Page Jr. and Roger Dale Page, both of Linton; two daughters, Melissa Gayle Page and Whitney Nicole Page, both of Clay City; a step-daughter, Laura Brooks, of Henderson; three brothers, Edward Page and wife, Lois, of Henderson, Gary Dean Page and wife, Hester, of Brazil and Paul Page and wife, Betty, of Clay City; a sister, Brenda Evans, of Henderson; a half-brother, Donnie Page, and wife, Joan, of Henderson; a half-sister, Susan Gayle Page, of Henderson; three grandchildren, Abigail, Kaden and Devin Page; and two step-grandchildren, Josh and Jacob Page.
Services will be Friday at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, Clay City, with Mark Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Sassafras Cemetery, Linton.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of service on Friday.
