Leandra Dawn Frye, 34 months, daughter of Daniel L. and Stacy L. Fagg Frye, died unexpectedly Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, in St. Vincent Clay Hospital's emergency room.

She was born Feb. 3, 2001, in Terre Haute with the genetic disorder, Krabbe's Disease. She underwent a stem cell transplant at Duke University in August of 2001; the prognosis was good.

Her parents are members of First Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by a great-grandfather, Freddie Von Garrett and a great-grandmother, Phyllis Hamblin.

Survivors include her parents, Daniel and Stacy Frye; two sisters, Lindsay and Lauren Frye of Brazil; grandparents, Pam Fagg and Mike Archer of Brazil, Judith Yike and Buss Wood of Rosedale, Ind., and the Rev. Tim and Mary Fagg of Terre Haute; a great-grandmother, Betty Garrett of Brazil; and extended family members.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Lawson-Slack Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clearview Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time.
