Robert K. "Bob" Paris, 65, of Quincy, Ind., died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born May 16, 1938, in Owen County, Ind., he was the son of Ross Myrl and Mary Caroline (Pullen) Paris.
He was a farmer and truck driver with memberships in Millgrove United Methodist Church, Millgrove, Ind., and Sons of the American Legion, Post 281, Cloverdale, Ind.
Survivors include his family, Patti; Rob, Tabetha and Dakota Paris, all of Quincy, Ind., and Ryan Paris of Eugene, Ore.; sisters, Helen DeLaCruz of Franklin, Ind., Rose Hegeman of Rensselaer, Ind., and Florence "Shug" Cook of Knightsville, Ind.; a brother, Ralph Paris, of Greencastle, Ind.; and a grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father on Oct. 31, 1971; his mother on Jan. 29, 1981; a son, Ronald Leon Paris; a sister, Kathryn Paris; and brothers, Clyde Lee Paris, Norman Kester and Ross "Junior" Paris Jr.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with the Rev. Louis D. Crouch officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 4-8 p.m., at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale with burial in Mannan Cemetery, Cloverdale.
