Ralph William Jackson, 81, of Brazil died Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born in Pleasantville, Ind., on June 4, 1922, the son of Carl and Mary Jackson.
He was a World War II veteran and was decorated with the Purple Heart. He worked at Mobil Oil Corporation for 42 years.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen J. Miley Jackson; three sons and their wives, Charles and Sandy Jackson of Rockville, Ind., Jack and Arleen Jackson of St. Louis, Mo., and Richard and Bonnie Jackson of Salt Lake City, Utah; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Benwood Mt. Lebanon Church in Brazil.
