Jack Eugene Riggle, 71, of Mountain Home, Ark., died on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004.
Jack Eugene Riggle was born March 31, 1932, at Jacksonville, Ind., the son of James O. and Ruth M. Haseman Riggle. He married Enid J. Flowers March 22, 1953, in Terre Haute.
He was a Right of Way Agent for Wisconsin Bell before moving to Mountain Home in 1991 from Madison, Wis. He was U.S. Air Force Korea veteran.
He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 356 in Madison, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rites Mason in the Sahara Shrine of Pine Bluff, a member of the Flying Carpets Legion of Honor, the past president of the Twin Lakes Shrine Club and a member of Eastern Star Chapter 202 and the Twin Lakes Telephone Pioneers. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife; one son, David and wife Tina Riggle of Deerfield, Wis.; three daughters, Shelley A. and husband John Robertson of Louisa, Va.; Sandra R. and husband Tom Blanchard of Mondovi, Wis.; Beth M. and husband Joel Hibbard of DePere, Wis.; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Vernon and wife Jean Riggle of Brazil and James R. "Bob" and wife Verla Riggle of Rockaway Beach, Mo.; four sisters, Helen and husband Bill Preece of Lebanon, Ind., Lois and husband Rob Jones of Brazil, Margaret Wilbur of Martinsville, Ill., and Carolyn Sue and husband Tom Burk, of Brazil.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Brooks officiating. Masonic services will be given by the Mountain Home Masonic Lodge No. 225. Entombment will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum.
Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children, Hospice of the Ozarks or the First United Methodist Church.
