Connie J. Robison, 57, of Terre Haute, died at 4:19 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at Clay County Health Center, where she had been a patient for only a few weeks.
She was born Sept. 5, 1946, in Terre Haute. She was the daughter of Harry C. and Virginia Frazier Fields.
Following graduation from Wiley High School she worked at TRW in Marshall, Ill., Columbia House in Terre Haute in quality control and as a teacher's assistant in area school districts.
Her husband, Thomas E. Robison, who she married Nov. 10, 1973, survives her.
She was an active member of the Elwood Community Band Boosters for eight years and served for a time as their president. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Terre Haute.
Her father preceded her in death in December of 1992.
She is also survived by her mother, Virginia Fields; a daughter, Catherine R. Robison of Terre Haute; a son, Jeffrey T. Robinson of Elkhart; four sisters, Janice M. Pomalow and husband Craig of Madison, Maine, Velora R. Kirby and husband Gary of Terre Haute, Deborah K. Fulk of Terre Haute and Martha M. Sanchez and husband Manny of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Harry W. Fields and wife Janice of Terre Haute and Tom E. Fields and wife Pam of Ft. Wayne; nine nephews; and eight nieces.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. Bernard Jackson officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bee Ridge Cemetery.
