Marjorie O. Hauser, 94, of Poland, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at 1:45 a.m. in Holly Hills nursing home.

Born July 27, 1909, in Clay County, she was the daughter of George and Nettie Meyer.

She graduated from Ashboro High School and later married Walter K. Hauser, who preceded her in death in 1973.

She was a member of the Poland Zion United Church of Christ and had enjoyed quilting.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Marcia Hauser of Poland; a grandson, Clint Hauser; a granddaughter, Kelly Graves, and her husband, Eric, of Plainfield; two great-granddaughters, Emily and Rachael Graves; a sister, Lucille Torr, of Brazil; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, Alfred, Charles, Roy and Herbert Meyer; and a sister, Ruth Wallace.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in French Funeral Home with Adin Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow in Poland Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m., prior to services.
