Quentin Herman Campbell, 82, of Harmony, died on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004.
He was born June 16, 1921, in Center Point, to Herman Harold Campbell and Enola Dressler Campbell.
On Aug. 2, 1943, he married Susie Newport of Harmony, who survives.
He retired from the U.S. Army and El Paso Gas Company. He lived in Phoenix, Ariz., after retirement. He was very active and donated his time to various organizations. He loved to repair, teach and build computers for senior citizens.
Also surviving are one son, Quentin Michael Campbell and wife Mikki of Milwaukee; one granddaughter, Linda Maes and husband Anthony and three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jonathon and Naaman Maes, all of Casa Grande, Ariz.; two brothers, Marvin E. Campbell and Madonna of Brazil and Glenden D. Campbell and wife Jan of Seelyville; one sister-in-law, Eleanor Campbell of Brazil; one brother-in-law, Jerry D. Marshall of Waynoka, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Maxine T. Walker, Opal G. Marshall and Kathleen Stoneburner; and three brothers, Harry D. Campbell, Merlin K. Campbell and Charles Dane Campbell.
A private family service took place on Monday. Arrangements were handled by Carr Tenney Mortuary.
