Ada Marjorie Craver, 98, of Spencer, Ind., formerly of Bowling Green, died Friday, Feb. 20, 2004, in the Owen Valley Health campus.

Born Feb. 15, 1906, in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Charles and Stella Skinner Hurley. On March 24, 1923, she married Roy Craver; he preceded her in death on March 17, 1969.

She was a member of the Baptist Church and was a life member of the Rebekah Lodge in Greencastle, Ind.

She worked at DePauw University in housekeeping. She was also a cook at Bowling Green School.

Survivors include her daughter, Elnora Chambers, and her husband, Argel, of Bowling Green; a grandson, Owen Chambers, and wife, Carol, of Bowling Green; two great-grandsons, David Chambers of Bowling Green and Mark Chambers of Huntersville, N.C.; two great-great-grandchildren, Daylan Chambers and Darci Chambers of Brazil.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Services will be Tuesday at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Nashville, Ind., with the Rev. Myron Jones officiating. Family will gather in French Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. to receive friends.
