Elsie Mae Zentko, 77, of Crawfordsville, Ind., died at 5:40 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born Nov. 29, 1926, in Brazil, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Grace Durbin Phelps.
She attended school in Brazil and was a member of Grace Avenue Church of God in Crawfordsville.
A nurse's aide, she worked for Ben Hur Nursing Home for a number of years and then worked as an in-home caregiver for homebound persons in Brazil.
Survivors include her son, George Zentko, of Indianapolis; daughters Mariah Evelyn Roddy of Conway, Ark., Linda Burnskide of Terre Haute, Debbie Clapp of New Richmond, Ind., and Kimberly Largent of Crawfordsville; a sister, Rosemary Cummings, of Brazil; and four grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, in Liberty Chapel Church, 501 N. CR 400 W, Crawfordsville, with burial in Cottage Hill Cemetery, Brazil.
Friends may call 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
