Opal J. Dellacca, 87 of Brazil, died at 1:50 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2004, at Clay County Health Center where she had been a resident since March,1999.

She was born October 26, 1916, in Brazil, Ind., the daughter of Oscar and Janet Knox Bolin who have both preceded her in death. Following graduation from Hoosierville School she married Galvert Dellacca who has also preceded her in death.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brazil. She worked for several years at Mathis Grocery and the J.C. Penney store in Brazil until her retirement.

Visitation will be noon until 2 p.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Robert Sampson officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery south of Brazil.
