Mildred Biggs Killion, 88 of Plainfield, Ind., and formerly of Brazil, died Saturday, March 20, 2004, at Hendricks Regional Health Center in Danville, Ind.
She was born May 28, 1915, in Attica, Ind., the daughter of William and Ada Altman Lear.
Mildred graduated from Staunton High School. She was a homemaker who also worked at the Bee Ridge School and at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was a member of Peniel United Methodist Church.
She married Lloyd Biggs April 7, 1934. He preceded her in death in January of 1964. Mildred married Henry F. Killion in 1969. He preceded her in death in August of 1980.
Her parents and a sister, Norma Jean McKinney, preceded her in death.
She is survived by one daughter, Magdalene Overpeck and husband Max of Mooresville, Ind.; one son, Bill J. Biggs and wife Norma of Plainfield; one sister, Vivian Ripple and husband Phillip of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; three grandchildren, Mark Overpeck of Indianapolis, Trela Overpeck of Indianapolis and Trina Vajgrt and husband Dave of Anchorage, Alaska; and three great-grandchildren Tracy and Jessica Hall and M. J. Abney.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Willis Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
